  Notes	Lorin Grant Carruth Tuesday evening's victim of an Ioka irrigation canal, had been playing on the lawn and around the house of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb. He was last seen by his grandmother at about 4:45 p.m. and at 5 p.m. his absence was noted, and a quicksearch of the yard was immediately began, but without success. Attention was then directed to the canal, where he was found lodged in a pile of trash at the bottom of a drop in the canal about 100 feet from a bridge from which, it is believed, he fell. At the Roosevelt hospital, where he was rushed by his grandfather, two physicians attempted to revive the 20-month-old youngster, but to no avail. It is believed that he may have been dead upon arrival at the hospital. Lorin Grant Carruth was born, September 9, 1946, at Roosevelt, the son of the late Phillip (there should only be one "L") Lorin and Genavieve Webb Carruth. The babe's father was killed in a mine accident at Bonanza, February 8, 1946, one month after hismarriage to Genavieve Webb. Besides his mother, Lorin Grant Carruth is survived by his maternal grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. Edmund Webb, of Ioka and his paternal grandfather, David Carruth, of Vernal. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 29, at 2 p.m. in the Ioka L.D.S. ward chapel. Friends may call at the Edmund Webb home from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.
