- Miriam Moon moved to SA in her teens, grad Jefferson High School, voted "Most Athletic Girl" (played tennis). Attended UT and U of Arkansas. Married in 1940. Attended Our Lady of Grace Parish, St. Mark's in SA, and St Peter's in Boerne. After Don retired,together they ministered to the sick in area hospitals. Miriam ("Granny") will be most remembered for her deep faith, her sense of humor, her gregarious nature and her ability to love others and demonstrate it. She never met a stranger or turned from anyone in need.
