Obituary: Nichols S. Bennett died at his home on Quarry Street, Riverview, Friday, April 17, 1914 at 7 p.m., aged 79 years, 9 months. The cause of death was general debility. He is survived by four sons: Furl, of Bluefield West Va., who was unable to cometo the funeral, on account of having been seriously injured in a railroad accident a few days previous, H.O., H.S. and E.N. of this place. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, conducted by R. B. Dunmire, of Blairsville Cemetery.
