Willis Bosler Jr.
Willis E. Bosler Jr. died on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA. Age 89. He was born in Norristown on May 30, 1919 a son of the late Willis E. and Kathryn (Bytheway) Bosler Sr.
Mr. Bosler was a graduate of the former Norristown High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and following the war, he served with the U.S. Air Force. He also worked as a cost accountant for the former Alan Wood Steel Co., and later was employed by the Montgomery Co. Board of Assessment Appeals. He was a member of Charity Lodge #190 F. & A.M., the LuLu Shrine and the Harleysville Senior Center.
Willis was also a member of the Family Worship Center.
He is survived by one son, David E. Bosler and his wife, Netha, Wyomissing; one daughter, Susan B. Hutchinson and her husband, Gregg, Spring Mount; one brother, Raymond Bosler, Towamencin Twp.; and one sister, Jean Bean also of Towamencin Twp.; six Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren also survive him.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Bosler and a sister Elizabeth Shuler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 8, at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia.
There will be no viewing.
