    • Grace Rittenhouse Heebner Seitz, 92, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 at Oak Lea Nursing Home in Virginia where she was a resident. She was married to Rev. Kenneth L. Seitz.
      Born in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late Albert Landis and Alice Ziegler Rittenhouse Heebner.
      She and her husband served as missionaries in Mexico City from 1958 until 1978. For the next five years, they served at the Lexington Mennonite Church.
      She was a member of the Mount Clinton Mennonite Church.
      Mrs. Seitz volunteered for the Care and Share Thrift Shoppes in Hilltown and at the Harrisonburg Gift and Thrift Store from 1985 until 2002.
      She made numerous quilts which she donated to the Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale.
      In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Kenneth Lee Seitz, and his wife Kathryn of Beirut, Lebanon; Delbert Leon Seitz, and his wife Mary Friesen of Lancaster, and David Allen Seitz, and his wife Christine of Mishawaka, Ind.; three daughters: Lois Arlene Kreider, and her husband Philip of Harrisonburg; Eunice Mae Wenger, and her husband Wade of Granger, Ind., and Frances Carol Justice, and her husband Larry of Dayton, Va.; a sister, Sara H. Benner of Souderton; a brother, Albert Heebner of Danville; nine grandchildren: Randall Seitz, Lucinda Mathews, Janelle Butterworth, Brian Seitz, Lori Rider, Christian Wenger, Heidi Wenger, Jonathan Wenger, Lonnie Wayne Justice, and 15 great grandchildren.
      Mrs. Seitz was preceded in death by a son, James Carl Seitz.
      A funeral service will be held Thursday morning, Dec. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mount Clinton Mennonite Church, Va. with Pastor Lee Martin officiating. Viewing hours will be from 10 until 10:30 a.m. at the church. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening, Dec. 26 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home, Harrisonburg.
      Burial will be at the Mount Clinton Cemetery, following the service.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund, 1501 Virginia Ave., Harrisonburg, Va. 22802.
