Guntz, Katie Freed, 84, of Souderton, PA died April 21, 2006 at Harleysville, PA of natural causes. She was born March 8, 1922 at Franconia, PA to the late Oswin & Mary Ann (Hackman) Freed. On May 4, 1942 she was married to John B. Guntz, who is deceased.
Surviving are children, Wilma Hathaway, Dolores Hathaway, John Lester Guntz, Kathy Frederick, Miriam Leatherman, Merle Guntz, David Guntz, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is Stella Moyer (Sister). Predeceased by Norman, John, and Melvin Freed (Brothers).
The funeral was held April 28, 2006 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Summit View Chapel, Souderton, PA with burial in Vincent Mennonite Cemetary, Spring City, PA.
She was a member of Mennonite Church USA.
