- GRANBURY - Juanita Smart Goodman, 79, passed away Monday, June 2, 2008, at a Granbury nursing home.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens. Viewing: Wednesday the funeral home and Thursday prior to the service.
Juanita was born Jan. 12, 1929, in Weatherford to Albert and Iva Lee Scarlett Erwin. She was a lifelong resident of Weatherford until moving to Granbury for care.
A cherished wife and mother, she adored her two sons. A licensed vocational nurse, she retired from the office of Dr. Jack Eidson. She loved to go to Las Vegas and gamble.
Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles T. Smart; her second husband, Sam Goodman; a son, Michael Smart; and a brother, James Erwin.
Survivors: Son, Ron Smart and his wife, Mary Helen, of Granbury; sister, Barbara Richards; brother, Kenneth Erwin; granddaughter, Miranda Hake; and numerous nieces and nephews.
