- Dielman Kolb was a Mennonite minister, who attended a congregation at Manheim as a young man. He lodged his persecuted fellow believers escaping from Switzerland. He in turn was also persecuted which led him to follow his brothers to America arriving in Philadelphia on 10 August 1717. He settled in Skippack where he served his church. He died 28 December 1756. Dielman's will was probated 30 April 1757. Elizabeth, his wife, renounced executorship and the task was given to his son in law, Andrew Ziegler. Dielman was buried in the graveyard adjoining his church in Lower Salford but no stone remains to mark the spot. Dielman and Elizabeth were married on St. Jacob's Day.
