HEART MALADY FATAL TO KOELTZTOWN WOMAN
Mrs. Katherine Bax, 66, widely known Koeltztown woman, died at 6:30 o'clock Sunday evening at her home following an extended illness of leakage of the heart.
She had been ill about three months. Mrs. Bax was born at Rich Fountain, Mo., May 24, 1869. In addition to her husband, Joseph Bax, she is survived by the following
children: Mrs. William Lock, Rich Fountain; Mrs. A. H. Tappel, Koeltzlown; Mrs. Clem Pemmem, Westphalia; Miss Salome Bax, of the home; Ben Bax, Folk, Mo.; Will Bax Koeltztown; Gerald Box, Freeburg; and Guss Bax, of the home.
Mrs. Bax was a member of the St Boniface Catholic church of Koeltztown an of the married ladies sodality of the church. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at the St Boniface church
