    • In 1845, they moved to Napoleon, Ohio. In 1849, they returned to Wayne County, Ohio and bought a flouring mill that was 10 miles west of wooster. The Funk Family has been associated with the grist mill operations dating back to their native SWITZERLAND inthe 1500's. There is a very large FUNK (FUNCK) family tree.
      Samuel is descended from Bishop Henry Funk. The Mennonite minister who arrived in PA in 1719.
